Tell the Wolves I'm Home are a very recent band as they have only put out work in the last three
years.
With a release of this quality and emotion it can only signal good things for their future.
Persevere is a 7-track EP with furthers their emotionally driven style they began cultivating with
the release of their 2014 EP, Ghost. Their lyrical style has improved significantly over their
2014 release, and this is a very good thing as the lack of sophistication did hold it back a bit.
The band showcases what they've learned by throwing the track 'Introvert' into the mix. It slows
down and takes an almost electronic style to it, furthermore, it serves as intermission before the
album descends into further darkness with 'Omohundro'. The track devastates from the opening notes
and seems to be a very personal response to a betrayal. The final song on the album 'Extrovert'
ends powerfully with a fantastic hook which only signals more great work to come. Overall, Tell
the Wolves I'm Home release another great EP which resonates with the listener and begs the
question as to why they are so unknown.
