3.9 excellent | Erwann S. STAFF | February 28th 20 | Beautiful Portuguese Folk. I didn't understand shit, but this is the kind of album that you can enjoy by just letting the music speak. What is truly interesting here for a non-native speaker is how progressive and psychedelic the music can be, making it an ever-changing record that, although an hour and fifteen minutes long, never bores. An extremely good surprise, thanks 3D!

5.0 classic | Chino smoking it up! | February 17th 20 | Years and years listening to this at home without realizing how carefully this was made. Not only
the poetry, but the attention to instrumentation and Portuguese true folk research is also
something to acknowledge. This is also mixed and written with a great sense of modernism and
avant-garde music. Conceptually. "Por Este Rio Acima" tells the story of the Portuguese explorer,
Fernão Mendes Pinto's travelings, during Sea Discoveries era, told in the book Peregrinação. A
Portuguese masterpiece.

4.5 superb | Gene Gol-Jonsson CONTRIBUTOR | February 19th 24 | Portugese mystical traveller folk band with plenty depth, lyrical and musical, with their gigantic conceptual progressive magnum opus: that's one loaded description, but an apt one.
