In various instances of their career, Germany's Brainstorm have excelled with respect to their US/Euro power/thrash metal hybrid, but unfortunately Scary Creatures isn't one of those instances. With the exception of a couple of really addictive (but derivative) songs ("We Are", "Where Angels Dream"), Brainstorm fall short in sounding fresh, even though the songs are well crafted (especially the choruses). Favourite song: Where Angels Dream.
