Thematically very different from Micic's Bilo series of EPs, ECO draws heavily on expanding David's electronic sensibilities towards the realms of pop and EDM. The vocals on ECO nurture its pop sensibilities while the primary musical layer of electronics on top of Micic's djenty lows continue his well-illustrated philosophy of incorporating crunchy extended range guitars that have been made boring by other groups in ways that are complementary and interesting to his primary melodies.

I like this EP a lot. Chunky Devin Townsend-style rifffs. Nice use of keyboard and layered electronics and some really beautiful melodies. Production is clean and tight. The vocals work for me too and help in making this EP more interesting than some of his other work I've heard. This is all based on initial impressions of course...

Nothing too good here except Myoki's feature on track 7. You're stuck with bland instrumental tracks or vocal tracks with overbearingly cheesy vocals. Except for Myoki's track of course.
