this is basically the twin peaks of ambient doom/drone. Aelter distances themselves from more linear approaches to doom and drone in favour of lynchian guitar textures that bring to mind comparisons to Earths 'Cowboy Drone' style, but paired with a sort of 'film noir' gothic backdrop in the vocals and atmospheres
