I have only listened too two King Diamond albums: Fatal Portrait and Abigail. these are his mid-eighties gems. This album is far better, and one of the very best metal albums in my collection. Very catchy chourus, heavy riffs, amazing sining. This album is a great start if you want to hear some amazing metal that will rock you.

Tolerable. That's the word that comes to mind when I hear this record. It's nothing spectacular...but it's not bad. I would only recommend this to King die hards.

Awesome album musicwise with catchy rhymes and choruses, but lets face it the story SUCKS !! King Diamond's masterful story crafting (Just look at puppet master and house of god) has been degraded into monotonous uninspired ghost stories... No thanks i'll stick with his 80's albums and their sequels if i want something similar !

A strong King Diamond album, some songs Andy does some really good guitar work, all the music sounds really good...but the thing is none of the songs are really that memorable. Still, it's fun to listen to sometimes.
