4.5 superb | SuzyC | September 7th 16 | Absolutely incredible. Clearly informed by djent, doom, and progressive metal, the songs are varied and differentiated yet have a focused sound. There is a strong cinematic quality to the album, sounding like a soundtrack for some very dystopic sci-fi. There are no vocals or guitar solos, but plenty of enormous riffs and melodies that range from spooky to horrific to bludgeoning. Excellent production also.
