This music is intended to be a living document. I sincerely request that you discard the paper sleeve that is included in this album. I specifically selected to press this music in pure white vinyl as a means to exploit the temporal quality of this analog medium. Do not worry about the scuffs or scratches, as they will make this record more special and specific, and because scars are proof of life action. Each record will bear the fingerprints of those who play it, and thus each record will become more personal and unique with each instance of use. Likewise, do not use a plastic protector for the album cover. Let the artwork display it's age like the wisdom of grey hair and wrinkles. This music is not new. This music is not precious. This record began it's lifespan as soon as you removed it from it's sleeve. Do not try to preserve it. Instead, you should celebrate it's senescence with each new play. There is nothing pure in your hands. Let it go.
