5.0 classic | PSABIN8951 | April 9th 14 | http://www.spaceelevatoronline.co.uk
This album is a future classic!
The band is made up of seasoned music professionals and it shows.
David Youngs guitar work kicks nicely through the mix without being too in your face, then The duchess casts a spell over the listener with a versatile and appealing vocal all backed up by Neil Murray, Brian Greene and Elliot Ware on Bass, Drums & keyboards respectively giving a quality solid sound.
The first track Elevator kicks the album off to an enthusiastic start on a musical rollercoaster ride.
We are the losers, the next track will, after you've heard it a few times get stuck in your head and youll soon be singing it from start to finish.
There is not a bad track on here but other truly high points include Little white lies which in a live situation would getting the crowd going.
Also Loneliness of love jumps out having perhaps a Foreigner/Journey feel initially before it really gets going.
Quirky lyrics of Oils & bubbles work well as the whole album links tracks in interesting ways and is designing to make you want to hear it from start to finish.
Talking of finishing the last song Move on slows things down but still gives a brilliant performance and leaves you wanting more!
One things for sure, this Elevator's not going down, only up & up!
I cant wait to see the live show, that will be a blast for sure.
