In 1999, the comedy show
South park, created by Matt Stone and Trey parker was in its 3rd season. Like the 2 seasons before it, this season had a Christmas episode. This episode entitled "Mr. Hankey's Christmas Classics", was a whole 30 minutes of Christmas songs sang by none other than the
South Park characters. Matt and Trey proceeded to make this episode into an album, adding a couple additional recordings to it.

The Track By Track
Mr. Hankey The Christmas Poo (Early 50's Recording) - The first track of the album and a good one. A parody of Frosty the Snowman. This song can be gross at times, but it's still very funny. With lyrics like "Sometimes he's nutty, sometimes he's corny, sometimes he's brown or greenish-brown, but if you eat fiber on Christmas eve he might come to your town!" this is a very good track to open this demented Christmas album.

Merry ***ing Christmas - Sang by Mr. Garrison, a song he sings about himself going to other, non-Christian countires and spreading Christmas cheer. This might be a little offensive to some people, but then again, if you bought or dowloaded this in the first place, you probably won't care. Pretty catchy with some funny lyrics.

O Holy Night - The song O Holy Night sung by Eric Cartman except with his own twist on it. Changing the lyrics to things such as "It is the night with the Christmas trees and pie." A little more serious than the last one, because this is an actual song. Still pretty funny though. It's also fairly emotional.

Dead, Dead, Dead - A not so upbeat song about how one day everyone you know and love, including you, is going to die. Music in the background as though it is a happy song. Sung by Trey Parker with some children singing in the background. This is a fairly odd song, but still funny if you have a dark sense of humor.

Carol of the Bells - A short rendition of Carol of the Bells by Mr. Mackey. No humor in this song except for his signature "M'kay" in the place of a word or two. A good song if you like Carol of the Bells, which I do. Not much else to say about a 57 second song.

The Lonely Jew On Christmas - A song by Kyle about being a lonely jew on Christmas. The lyrics include him listing different things he can't do because he's a Jew. The 2nd half of the song includes vocals by Trey Parker telling Kyle why it's good to be a Jew during Christmas time. A very good song.

I Saw Three Ships - The song I Saw Three Ships by Stan's sister Shelly. You can hear Stan and kyle laughing at her in the background. She get's progressively madder as she is singing the song and eventually gets up and smashes the piano on Stan and Kyle. This one's kind of boring.

It Happened In Sun Valley - A song, maybe a cover, though I've never heard the original so I wouldn't know. Stan sings a duet about a girl he met in Sun Valley. Very upbeat and poppy, but also, kind of boring. The song ends with Stan and the girl singing about things they did in Sun Valley, such as building a snowman.

O Tannenbaum - This version is sang by Adolf Hitler. He is sad while singing it because, obviously, there are no Christmas trees in hell. A good version of the classic Christmas song, and as a plus, it's sung by Adolf Hitler. This song continues into the next track.

Christmas Time In Hell - A continuation of the previous song, satan sings about it being Christmas in hell. This song has very humorous lyrics such as "There goes Jeffrey Dahmer, with a festive Christmas ham, after he has sex with it, he'll eat up all he can!"

What The Hell Child Is This? - What Child Is This? by Chef (Isaac Hayes) with his own Funky twist on it. This one runs a little long, but is still stuffed with humor all the way through. The song starts with a conversation between Chef and a woman and goes into the beginning of the song What Child is This? Chef ends the song saying he's going to "Fah La La" her "La"

Santa Claus is On His Way - A short 28 second song by Mr. Hanky. Not much to be said here except it includes Kyle for a couple seconds. Pretty good all together.

Swiss Colony Beef Log - A song by Eric Cartman. He sings about how "His Christmas wouldn't be complete without a swiss colony beef log." Only Cartman could sing this emitonal and enthusiastic about a beef log. This song is very funny and has good lyrics at the same.

Hark the Herald Angels Sing - Hark the Herald Angels Sing by the 3rd grade class of South Park Elememtary. Very short, being about 40 seconds long. Some humor is included though, with Cartman singing really loud and horrible over the rest of the class.

Dreidel, Dreidel, Dreidel - Dreidel, Dreidel, Dreidel wiht a cool twist on it. Including Cartman, Kyle, Stan, Kyle's mom, Kyle's dad, and Ike. A very well composed song. This is probably the best song on this album. This is also funny at some times as well. Like when Kyle's dad comes in and instead of singing about a dreidle, he sings "Courtney Cox, I love you, You're so hot, on that show." A great song.

The Most Offensive Song Ever - As the title suggests, this is a very offensive song. Including vocals by Mr. Hankey and Kenny. This song is about how Mary is supposedly suppose to be a virgin, but isn't. The most offensive parts are covered up by Kenny muffling the lyrics. I'm pretty sure I heard Kenny say at some point "Stick in the D
ick" A good song.

We Three Kings - The song We Three Kings sang by someone with a Arabic accent. The most serious song on the album as it includes no humor. it is only 50 seconds long as well. This is a skippable track unless you absolutely love the song We Three Kings. (Which I doubt anyone does.)

Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas - The albums closer sung by everyone included on this album. Even though it includes no humor, it's great. The parts by everyone are great and this is the perfect song to end this album. It really puts you in the Christmas spirit.
