4.0 excellent | mkamrass | May 23rd 14 | A very enjoyable progressive black metal release. Instrumentally, it is interesting. Vocally, the singer has nice cleans and growls. The one criticism of this album is the production: it can make the music kind of bland at times and the vocals are in the background way too many times where they should be in the front of the music. Code has a lot of potential.

3.5 great | Robert Davis | January 6th 14 | Pretty good album indeed. I think sometimes the band sound a little too similar to Talanas or Enslaved for my liking, but for the most part they are doing the job just right. Clean vocals are very effective against a constant barrage of progressive black metal structures and sometimes epic atmospheres, though the cleans can be surpassed by the intensity of the growls.
