Review Summary: If you like Adam Sandler, check this album out. It is him at his best.
If you have time to sit down, chill, and burst with laughter, this album is for you. Although this album has amazing realistic sounds and voiceovers, it would help if you have a very active imagination to enjoy Stan and Judy’s Kid to its fullest extent.
“Hot Water Burn Baby” features a great impression of a baby by Sandler. It starts with Allen Covert (Big Daddy, Grandma’s Boy) as Sandler’s dad explaining there is another baby on the way. He warns him that hot water is harmful to a baby. Soon, it transfers to Sandler 30 years later, watching a native ritual of women dunking their newborn into steaming water as a rite of passage. Having the old rule, “Hot water burns baby!” stuck in his head, Sandler comically freaks out.

“Cool Guy 1” has Sandler with, what sounds like, a beautiful woman. He tries to put the moves on her and fails. Things were going well, until he refers to his penis in a comical way. The woman then laughs, and ends the night, hoping to never see him again.

“7 Foot Man” is a live version of a new song. It is, as you should know by the title, about a 7-foot man. Sandler sings how life is tough for him, such as fitting through doorways, and hitting the ceiling fan. The song is ok, but the audience’s reactions make the song more enjoyable. Without the crowd, the song would not stand strong.

“The Peeper” is a hilarious interpretation of what would go on in a Peeping Tom’s head as he peeps on a beautiful woman. This couldn’t have been done any better. Sandler’s voice is perfect for this character. Things are going great for the pervert until her boyfriend (Covert) arrives and spots him. Soon, the cops arrive and take the pervert away in a comically embarrassing fashion.

“Cool Guy 2” is Sandler with another beautiful woman trying to have some fun. He fails to get the woman in the mood yet again in another hilarious way. He cannot seem to keep smooth for longer than 53 seconds.

“Dee Wee (My Friend the Massive Idiot)” is a song about the friend everyone has; that guy that is always late, always borrowing your things, and never seems to help any situation. Unlike “7 Foot Man”, this is actually a great song. It is similar to a “Weird Al” song. It isn’t a parody of anything, but it has great lyrics. The background of this song features clips of his friend saying things that would just irritate you, “Sorry, I was asleep..” “Awe, man, I forgot my snowshoes…” “I don’t have the money tonight, can you spot me?...”. The song sounds like it would be annoying, but it’s not. It is simply very funny.

“Whitey” is a track over 16 minutes long of dialog between an older man, and a Spencer’s store clerk in the food court at the mall. They talk about some stores, and just life. The script is well done. Whitey is a great character. If you are not familiar with this CD, you may still recognize Whitey. The old, short man in the animated movie 8 Crazy Nights is the same character. If you thought the movie was good, then you HAVE to listen to this track. Whitey is extremely nice, but you just can’t help but to laugh at the guy.

“Cool Guy 3” is yet another scenario of this almost-smooth guy, trying to get with a beautiful woman. He fails yet again. He seems to change his reaction in this one. He takes her reaction more as if it happens often, which it does. Maybe he’s thinking he should change his ways…

“She Comes Home to Me” is a song about a man bragging that he is in a relationship with a well-known whore. He sings that she’ll do certain naughty things to you, but she’ll come home to him. He gets into extreme detail with the things she’d to you, and follows it up with things like, she’d find his socks, and go antiquing with him. He knows it’s just work for her, and she does it only for the cash, but she MAKES LOVE to him.

“The Champion” is about a famous golfer, played by Blake Clarke (50 First Dates, Home Improvement), performing. All you really hear is the announcer, and a little bit of the champion and the crowd at a distance. Some things happen that mess up his drives, and he soon gets enraged. It reminds a person of the movie Happy Gilmore. The champion soon gets so enraged that he starts a scene that escalates pretty much as far as it could have. The announcer does an amazing job of commentating every little event. Although you cannot see anything, the sounds, and voiceovers are amazing.

“Cool Guy 4” has the same character that gave up on dates with women, and tries phone sex. He, again fails, and somehow gets a phone sex operator to hang up on him. It’s definitely worth a listen.

“Chanukah Song, Pt. 2” is the infamous Chanukah Song altered. It carries the same melody, but has different lyrics. It definitely stands up to the classic. It wouldn’t be considered to be better, but it would not be considered a waste of time to give it a listen.

“Inner Voice” is similar to “The Peeper”, except it is in a normal person’s head, with a pervert’s inner voice. The voice never really says any words, just grunts, laughs, and whines. The guy appears to be smooth, but the inner voice is a simple pig. The woman seems to be perfect girl for any man. She is laid back, beautiful, and funny. The man works up to getting a date with her by being witty and goofy. If only she could hear inside his head...

“Cool Guy 5” has given up on normal dating, after numerous failed attempts, and finally tries his luck with a hooker. Things are going great, and then he says the usual terrible line that normally ends everything. The hooker doesn’t mind. For a moment, the “Cool Guy” thinks he found the perfect solution to his terrible luck with women. After a couple more lines, the hooker pulls out a badge, and her cuffs. She’s a cop. The “Cool Guy”, feeling completely useless an angry, gets put into the cop car, and that’s the end of the “Cool Guy”.

“Welcome my Son” is a song about a dad worrying if his son will grow up to smoke weed. The son is only six, but the dad is concerned. The song is pretty short, and not quite clever, but it is fairly entertaining.

“The Psychotic Legend of Uncle Donnie” is a disturbing scenario of a middle-aged alcoholic behind the wheel of a boat with his nephew and his friends. Some alcohol is involved and people get hurt. The first person gets caught under the propeller, and the story gets more psychotic from there. This has the best voiceover of any track on the album. It is so realistic, that it may be too disturbing for some. This story ends in a massacre. This is probably the best track on the album.

“Reprise” is just a simple audio collogue of the album. It is just clips of some of the tracks over a new beat. An intelligent person wouldn’t waste their time listening to this track, even if it is only about a minute long.

This is overall a great album. If you like Sandler’s work at all, you have to check this out. The voiceovers are all amazing, and the scripts are written very well.
