3.0 good | Voivod STAFF | December 21st 13 | Long before the recent advent of female fronted doom metal, Mourn released their eponymous album through Lee Dorrian's Rise Above Records. As expected, the album is solid, but its replay value decays after a few listens. This is due to the monolithic (but uninteresting from a point further) structure of the arrangements and the adequate, but rather flat female vocals.
