This demo is a re-invention of Imperanon. There is little resemblance to Stained. They lost
the generic melodies and adopted a much heavier, raw sound that I can't really compare to
any other band I've heard. A real shame they disbanded before releasing an album with this
material because everything has really come together here to form some amazing music. The
guitar riffs are fresh and are complemented well by some great drumming. Keyboards have
taken a backseat and provide more atmosphere rather than leading melodies. Bass doesn't make
much impact but not a concern I really cared about with this. Definitely recommended, songs
can be found on youtube x
