Review Summary: They got Tessa Taylor. That's all I have to say.

Now I normally don't talk about poppy post hardcore that nobody has ever heard of, but this band is just too fantastic to pass up. The band started out with normal, albeit somewhat introspective and emotional lyrics, but by the end of their career, which was last year, they had changed from a somewhat credible emo band into a full out vehicle for homosexual deviancy. I mean nothing against gay people as I myself am homosexual, but wow did they ever cram a whole lot 'o gay into one can. At this point in their career, however, they were just an average emo post hardcore band that remains overlooked to this very day. This album was loaded with sexual innudendos through lyrics, as well as porn samples. The most disturbing part about it was the fact that I somehow don't believe the samples were sourced from any particular video, but rather original sound clips of them engaging in sexual intercourse with Tessa Taylor.

Crazy Asian Bastards.

Anyways, time for a review. Track by track.

First up is Diamonds, which is a cover of the Breathe Carolina track of the same name. Not much else to say there.

Next is Tessa, which is loading with sound clips upon sound clips of what I can only assume is Tessa Taylor having intercourse with the band. Awesome. The riffs here sound like a more mellow version of Funeral For A Friend but it has licks that make me think of something more glam metal or J-Rock like.

Next is Fantasies, which, as I'm sure you may have guessed, is about getting your freak on. This song is extremely short and frankly sucks.

Up next is The Delusions of The Grander, which is the worst mistranslation of english I've ever seen. The song is pretty standard J rock fare, boring and uninspired.

Without me is, what I can only assume, a love ballad. It sounds soft and has some string arrangements that work really well with the soft, subtle guitars. This track reminded me of shoegaze. Good tune.

Next is the worst track of the album, the autotune riddled 'off the chain'. What the hell were they thinking? Really? It sounds like generic disney pop, purely synthesized and god awful.

Last and not least is Amazing Mazes. All I can say is 'meh'.
