BAND HISTORY
This band is called ¨Destruction¨ and this is a band that plays fast and aggressive thrash-metal, this is one of the bands that became very famous in Germany along with two other blasting thrash bands and they are ¨Kreator¨ and ¨Sodom¨. This band was considered to be the best of the bunch by fans and others and the band-members themselves of course think that they are the best. Though I haven't heard ¨Sodom¨yet but I can tell that I enjoyed this band more than ¨Kreator¨. ¨Destruction¨ was well-known around the world in the beginning at their career but in the 90's it becomed very quiet on the Desrtuction front because that the bassist/vocalist left the band. The rest of the group went on but didn't make any bigger success, and after five albums including two EP record the former member came back and the band was starting to get back on their feet. Their albums didn't have the ¨real Destruction spirit¨ like in their previous albums but they are releasing albums today and the latest one is ¨Inventor Of Evil¨.

ALBUM INFORMATION
And now to the material of this fine album, the album is basically very fast thrash-metal, with heavy and somewhat quite technical riffing , classic fast thrash-drumming and aggressive vocals with a splash of evil nature, no skilled singing here. The songs has almost the same speed in all of them but there is quite much variation in the songs so that they don't sound like the other songs. Some songs are pretty catchy while others concentrates on speed and raw riffing, I think that there at least one song on this album that would go home to the listener.

THE CREW
During tihs album the crew was four members so I start with the first one, Schmier (his real name: Marcel Schirmer) was the member to jump of after their live-recording but eventually came back. Schmier is the bassist and vocalist of this band, he does a very good performance in this album both instrumentally and vocally. His bass is loud and clear and helps to form the really thick sound of this album, there are no special bass-filling sections or bass solos but it sounds great so his bass-performance is a clear 4.5/5.

Now to Schmier's vocals, I like these torn, odd and evil vocals so I think that these vocals are great. The vocals are harsh, evil and they also reminds of these black-metal singers but Schmier's vocals stand more to the thrash-genre I would say. The vocals suits great with the music but I guess that these vocals would just annoy people that hasen't heard this vocal-style. But I think that sinignig voice is great so he wil get a high-score on this section too, 4/5.

Mike Sifringer is the only member that has been hanging on from when the band first saw the light, he is a guitar player and his is also doing great on this album. This guy can play many different styles of riffing and shredds, the riffs are strong and thick, they are also very fast and technical, almost the same spirit as bands like ¨Heathen¨ and early ¨Metallica¨. The whole guitar part of this album is great, a high amount of riffs and guitar solos makes this album very enjoyable to listen to so Mike's score in this album will be a 5/5.

Harry Wilkens was the second guitar player on this album so I will try to do my best to describe him a bit. Also a pretty tight guitar player, he was a member in the band for no longer period of time then four albums included one EP and the live-recording. I guess that he had the same task as Mike has, to play the rhythm part and some solos. It is very hard to come up with somethin good but I have not found much information about his album so I think that this would be enough. Anyway, Harry's part in this will be given a 4/5 because the guiatr work sounds great, its tight, heavy and most parts are pretty catchy.

And now to the drummer Oliver Kaiser, a very good drummer to my ears. He keeps up a great pace, not as crazy as Ventor in the band named ¨Kreator¨, Oliver's drumming is tight, he gots alot of heavy beats that are very catchy. There are of course some very fast drum parts but for the most part there is just classic and heavy drum beats, this type of drumming suits me just fine so I will give Oliver a 4.5/5.

FINAL JUDGEMENT
Thank you for taking your time to read this review and I hoped is was to any help. This was very good thrash-metal indeed, it was fast but not ¨maniac-fast¨, it was very heavy with lots of variation in the songs (especially instrumentally) and the vocals was the a great example of how thrash-metal can sound like. I just have to recommend the whole album to all thrashers who is reading this review right now and other metal heads as well. I think that this is one undiscovered jewel in the world of metal and it really deserves to be discovered by more faithful thrashers out there in the world!

PROS
+ The guitars are really heavy and thick
+ The vocals are a perfect example of good thrash vocals
+ The songs is loaded with catchy shredds and solos
+ This album would go home to almost any thrashing fanatic
+ The drumming is nearly perfect from my own point of view

CONS
- The guitar solos can sound pretty odd sometimes
- It could have been a few more songs on this ablum

RECOMMENDED TRACKS
-- Survive To Die
-- Inciminated
-- Sign Of Fear
-- Dissatisfied Existence

Overall album rating will be a: 4.5/5
