This is Megadeth's best album as far as songwriting.. Everything here is well constructed and well-performed. It has Dave's best vocal performace by far. It is not thrash, and is barely metal, but, it's fantastic for what it is.

I don't know man I think there are 5 good songs on this max, rest is filler hard. Maybe its because I grew up more with Countdown and jammed it way more as a kid.

I have Countdown rated the same as this. I may have Youthanasia inflated a bit since I basically learned to play guitar from jamming this nonstop to learn all the riffs. I stand by the above statements though.
