I saw this acoustic stuff when they were opening for Bob Dylan, and I was floored. This is a wonderful CD, mostly because I can recollect the show when I hear the songs.

...Dylan was horrible.

I just picked this up a few days ago and it's amazing. I thought that it wouldn't be worth buying since there would be a DVD of the same concert, but with more songs, but I was wrong. I haven't stopped listening to it since I picked it up.

I think it takes a fairly hairy sac for a rock band like the Foo Fighters to strip down for their first live album. Yeah its not the hard rock we all know and love, and maybe even come to expect. However what we do get is new versions of old Foo Fighter classics in Big Me, Everlong, and the questionable My Hero (some my say that song rocks to hard to ever be taken advantage of by the shy and gentle acoustic guitar) Nonetheless Skin and Bones showcases the true talent of this band, where as many of todays "rockers" would find themselves more exposed then Bruce Willis in Color of Night. So let us give credit where credit is due and sit tight for more hard rock tunes that are sure to come.
