People gave a shit about this band back then for sure (I should know, I got into these guys back in 2011), it's just the discography-reciting, Jeff-idolizing, thread-spamming fans haven't existed for these guys on this site until after they broke up. Most of the staff has loved this band for agessssss (like they were checking out Laura's A Record because they knew she used to be in BtMI) but they don't worship them the way guys like Kman do.
