Anyway, I respectfully disagree with you guys. There are so many brutal, terrifying riffs here. The lyrics are also impossible to forget and the raw production only adds to the horrifying atmosphere. This album is a death metal classic imo.

ok so the riffs on hammer smashed face are better than I remember but the vocals are still fucking dire. Might be worth relistening to this just for the riffs and such but eh, would rather listen to Bjork right now.
