I don't see how their religious beliefs effects anything in this review.

But then again, I seem to be the only one who doesn't consider Christian to be part of a genre. And these guys guys aren't even metal.
No man I agree with you. Christian is not a genre or style of music. It just has to do with the lyrics.
Very overrated band. How can people rave about how reat this cd is when there are 1000 better metalcore bands out there. Chack out On Broken Wings, Unearth, Eighteen Visions(Until the ink runs out and the best of), and converge

O Pleez!
18VIS. is horrible! that new album is some of the worst music ever! to bad for them their bassist left and is now the lead singer of bleeding through. however i will give u that unearth rocks so hard tha i have to go see them next time there out here which is in like Feb. and converge is also good. also check out Odd Project on Indianola Records And It Dies Today ther new on the scene with TUSTKILL records

That was the guitarist, jackass. Odd Project suck now. IDT is not new by any means.
I would just like to say that you can be of the opinion that AILD is better than Converge, but you are a fag if you have that opinion, because it is wrong.

Thank you.
I really like this cd alot. The vocals, guitars, and drums are all awesome. I really like the tone of the drums, especially the double bass.

Its been a while...but after listening to it for the first time months, I can honestly say that this is not worth the money. If you're absolutely forced to invst in Metalcore, than go for a different album - actually, don't even look in this band's direction.

The guy who wants to start a metal band with me loves this band and Unearth. He is a big fan of this drummer, is that a good thing? Also, I am readion the Faulkner novel named As I Lay Dying. Is that where this band got their name?

I loved the decimal over fraction rating.

eg. 4.25/5.

Why not just make it 17/20? lol.

Great review anyway. This convinced me to download some sample tracks, and in the end I bought the CD, and I love it. Thanks. XD

Decent album, but not nearly as good as their newest release. Great review though.

Could some drummer explain triggers?

Distance is Darkness is one of my favorite songs ever. i wish they'd do more tracks like that. well not exactly like it, but its just that its soooo effing heavy and awesome and such, and then the clean singing is perfectly executed. yeah.

and they use a double pedal im pretty sure, as the drumming seems to me to be a little to complex for a trigger style. and for you above me, a trigger is basically a double pedal that is automated so you only use one foot.

Because I changed it. I was too eay on these guys before. I was listening to them recently and I realized how much I hate this album.

They're still a good live band though. This Message Edited On 08.29.05
this album shaved me like a fine ham and i applauded with gusto.. this guy has one of my favorite screams, rough and throaty and it just wants to make you kill a cat or something gay like that. the filmclip for 94 just wants to make you kill 2 and serenade that girl.
