Really? His last 4 or 5 albums have been my favorites of his. Sour Soul, Apollo Kids, Both twelve reasons, and 36 seasons are all dope as shit in my opinion.

i def would man. 36 seasons took a while to grow on me. Az is awesome on it. Sour soul is a grower too. twelve reasons to die 2 is probably the weakest, but still has some cool tracks and dope production.

have I mentioned how cool it is that "shakey dog" alternates between two chords but the second one is held for really long even though you get the sense that the first one is the "base" chord because of how the beat is introduced. such a good musical "narrative"
sort of reminds me of the held dissonant chord on "ride around shining" by clipse
