This album is what finally hooked me on these guys. This album is just insane, from the face-melting solos to the non-stop riffage. This is just bonkers and I'm still blown away by their cover of Sound Of Silence while I laugh at Disturbed's half-assed rendition. These guys rewrote the song from the ground up in what is one of the most fascinating covers of all time. Their best album for sure.

The production of this album blew my mind the first time I heard it. Still one of my favorite sounding albums of all time. The fact most of the songs crush too doesn't hurt m/....

Imho, this album is Nevermore's second lowest point behind The Obsidian Conspiracy.
Killer material coexists with filler in almost 1:1 ratio, plus Dane's (RIP) voice is in bad shape half the time, due to alcohol problems admitted by the late man himself when This Godless Endeavor was released.

Wrong.

Dis their best

^^Agreed, if Politics of Ecstasy, Dreaming Neon Black, In Memory EP, Nevermore, Enemies of Reality and This Godless Endeavor didn't exist.
