Just listened to this. Damn, I'm floored. This was fucking phenomenal. It's hard to pick a favorite song just yet, but Dana Walker and Escape Pods... are probably the best, along with the closer.

It sounds as if they are following the sound of Magnetic North, rather than trying to go back to the Satellite Years sound. Maybe too rushed to judge on an 8 second clip, but I wouldn't complain either way. Both Magnetic North and Satellite Years are two of my all time favorite records.

yeah the interview confirms a shit ton including the sound. they've been working on these songs longer than any other album they've done. these songs are what they've been doing as a hobby garage band for the last ten years.
