Gavin Hayes' vocal performance on El Cielo just rendered me speechless. Sanzen sounds brilliant overall,

much like the rest of the album really.

Can't believe this was released in '02. It's aged like a fine wine.

Just now getting around to hearing this and I have no idea what to think about it. I'm certain that it's good but I need a few more listens

Yeah, this album has a lot of depth.

It's worth every listen though, and it's easily one of my top records of all time.

This album is the sonic equivalent of looking at a Dali painting, and I think that that was probably exactly what they were going for.

Sorry But It's Over is amazing agreed, but I never really could get into Same Ol Road. Sanzen and Triangle are good, but neither match The last 3 or Scissor Lock for me.

Scissor Lock is hauntingly pretty.

Definitely. And you hit the nail on the head earlier when you said this album perfectly encapsulates a Dali painting. Even though it's no secret that's part of what the band was going for, it's no less amazing to me how well they did it.
