This is a beautiful album. I can not put it down.

Album is amazing. Nothing really more to say.

I think these have got to be the worst lyrics I've ever heard. I laughed out loud several times during the album at the cheesiness, utter cliche-ness, and poor construction of these lyrics. Plus, the music is just boring after track four. I'm not at all impressed.

I guess opinions on this are almost split, strange indeed. Meh, one love.

I look forward to hearing this.
Lex Talionis is my favourite Sol Invictus so far.

Loved this review. The album is disappointing in comparison.
Kinda am wishing for some shrieks, haha.
Maybe I'm spoiled.

A lot of the Sol Invictus around this period sounds the same, as much as I like this it is probably one of the lesser efforts IMO.
Once you get the taste for it, it's beautiful. I suggest King & Queen, Trees In Winter, The Killing Tide, The Death Of The West and The Blade over this.

Fucking brillant album. Very close to getting the presitege classic rating. More people need this album in their Ipod...

There's been a failure to mention that he's a massive fascist. Along with most other so called 'neofolk' bands which are an extension of the Neo Nazi/white power scene from the mid 80's.

That's true doesn't stop this from being good music. Morally ambiguious maybe but that's just the way it is.

"with a strong, deep voice" he sounds frail and gay

he sounds frail and gay[2] (in a good way)
Great album, love the imagery Wakeford seamlessly invokes with his lyricism.
