Yeah, Hope Leaves rules, although I think Windowpane is the best song on the album, followed by Hope Leaves and To Rid the Disease.
I feel exactly the same way! Only I'd probably place Hope Leaves as one of my personal favorite songs altogether.

They're both great but the chorus of To Rid the Disease is incredibly powerful to me.
I'm contemplating rating this a 5. As a friend once confirmed for me, it's good healing music.

Nah, I don't think that it's quite a classic. To Rid the Disease and Death Whispered a Lullaby aren't at their full potential.

It has a lot of personal value for me. Death Whispered a Lullaby isn't the greatest but every other song is top effin' notch to my ears.

I just got this album yesterday, and im pleasantly surprised.
Though out of the 7 opeth album i own, it's currently my least favorite, (only two
listens though) it's stil a very good album. Death Whispered a Lullaby is my favorite,
probably cause of the awesome solo, followed by closure, then windowpayne.
I think the album gets a little worse as it progresses though. The first four songs are
my four favorite, and the last two songs are pretty boring if you ask me. Tracks 5
and 6 are good, but not as interesting as the first four imo. Remember that i've only
listened ti this twice though.
Now all i need is Orchid, and i can't find it anywhere

Hope Leaves may end up growing on me. It's my fifth favorite on the album currently.
Scimming through these reviews, it seems that i'm the only person that really likes Death Whispered a Lullaby.
