Pennyroyal was supposed to be a single too but it was pulled out for Kurt's death

all i ever hear now is Smell like teen spirit, one of the most overplayed songs ever. Its not even close to Nirvana's best either

@thumbcrusher; thanks for clearing my doubt.
@apert; i have to disagree. Surely Teen Spirit was incredibly overplayed, but it's one of their best songs nevertheless.

All that radio play talk was taken way too literally.

In at 4 and up 5 it's Charles and Eddie.

Down 1 this week is Colour Me Badd

Last Weeks Number 1 and one of the greatest songs this year keeping the spirit of Rock truly alive

it's Mr Jon Bon Jovi.

And straight in at number one with a trashy load of old noise here is Nirvana.

I didn't quite understand what you just said, zakalwe...
Can you explain it to me, if you don't mind?

Not at all Dan.

Putting Nirvana into the same context as a band like I don't know.... Nickelback for having a hit that was played relentlessly on radio does not immediately categorize them as a band "made" for radio.

There are comments saying All Apologies, Heart Shaped Box, and the album Nevermind received loads of airplay but the differences between a band who received air time back in the day because they are a cultural phenomenon compared to a "Whoah this song is super, I can't stop tapping my foot" but means fuck all appear to have been lost somewhere.

Apologies all. I will shut up.

This album is just as good, if not better than, Nevermind. It's a shame Kurt died though, would have loved to see what they would've made.
