cool.. haha. Either way I think you'll like it. Fantastic Planet is their best album, but Magnified
definitely sounds like Nirvana

Pearl Jam live is mostly what I was referring to, they kind of destroy every other grunge band I've seen in that regard (though Nirvana Unplugged is one of the best live shows I've never been to)- so much emotion, always changing how they play each song, every show I've heard by them/seen sounds like any other bands most passionate performance

That being said they have some studio releases I'm not fond of, but even those songs I don't care for are unbelievable live

I'll tell you what was a massive surprise: the last Pearl Jam album. Their sound has changed so much, but I actually enjoyed it.

Went on a 90s nostalgia binge today that went to an unprecedented level. Will round it off with this masterpiece. Teenage angst has paid off well now I'm bored and old.

Kurt had some shining moments as a lyricist.

Definitely, interspersed with some baffling drivel.

Well that's that then and my belief confirmed that despite being a junkie who had a weak will Kurt was the last of the true genuine "Rock Stars" A regular one of us and yet a one off who seemed to have landed from another planet and could inspire a generation.
Today's music scene is unparalleled in the amount of brilliant stuff that is instantly available and genuinely great. However I feel it misses its renegades and originals who no matter if you come from Seattle, Detroit, Sydney or Dagenham (Trust me you don't want to go) genuinely connect on some level that unites us all.
Even my mum thinks so for fucks sake.
