Colony of Birchmen was the first track I heard (though I know I had leviathan proximity, just can't remember specifics), The Wolf is Loose rocked me hard enough to get me interested in the rest of the album but...
This Mortal Soil is the one that did it for me. I felt like I understood them after hearing it. From there, the album became a nearly flawless experience front to back on repeat listens.
Still the best 'don.

"This Mortal Soil" is such a groove. That and "Siberian Divide" might be my two favorites songs on this album, although the whole thing goes from front to back.
