I actually agree with Declaration being their best. But this is up there too. This is Love and their newest are up there too.
This is definitely leagues above s/t though. I don't think s/t is as bad as a lot of other people seem to think but it's still at the bottom of their discog for me, along with Dust to Ashes.

Man I gave this a full listen the other day, and oof. There is some seriously cringe shit here. And I have a pretty fuckin' high tolerance for cringe. A tragedy on empty streets is the only song here I think I ever care to hear again.
Declaration fucking obliterates this at this point, for me. ily all still.

i'm listening to a podcast w/brendan about this album. surprised to hear that this is least fav from the band. it does sound like there were a lot of issues during the recording process though and apparently the producer left halfway through the mixing of the album.
