It comes out tomorrow and i'm five bucks short! ARGH!

Go to Best Buy, it's $9.99 until the 31st. I don't know what province you live in, but I'm assuming Best Buy prices are the same across the country, surely you can muster up more than $4.

You really mean 'Hallowed Be Thy Name'...right? But 'Paschendale' is very, very close. But 'Hallowed...' is just...the greatest song ever written.

As good as Hallowed Be Thy Name is, I'd have to rank it second, or maybe even third after Powerslave. That order is pretty interchangable I think, as long as you have those 3 songs. :pThis Message Edited On 08.28.06

I could see that as a well-above reasonable/acceptable answer. Well put sir....

...

...but Hallowed Be Thy Name will always be #1 in my heart.

Anyone else think that the only subpar track is 'The Legacy'?

I like that one quite a bit actually, the acoustics at the beginning slay. Though I don't think it would hurt if The Legacy was a minute shorter. This Message Edited On 08.29.06

Amazing. Simply amazing. I can honestly say that Iron Maiden is one of the best and most persevering bands of all-time. This album, and some before, are proof.

Well I definitely like The Legacy, it really suits to my tastes (Heh i hope i have chosen right words - English is not my native). And starting three minutes - dark? melancholic? Something like that. Yeah, that's it, I like it.

Well, but my favourite is Greater good as I have taken my guitar and learned it to play with the record and it's amazing. My all-times favourite is the Sign of the Cross but you know - I can't get the Greater good from my head - even listening it right now and when I get home, I'll take the guitar and put the CD in and start playing again. I don't remember any song doing me the same.

But I'm afraid it is not 5, 5 is Tubular Bells :-)

To me, the first few moments of Greater Good sound quite similar to Sign of the Cross actually. The first time I listened to it, I absent mindedly expected it to be Sign of the Cross. :p

Amazing album!!!

IMO Maidens best since Powerslave. Yes, that means better than Somewhere in Time and Seventh Son, but by all means, those two are also brilliant.

Not one sub-par song, no stuff like Heaven Can Wait or Moonchild brings it into Bruce's top 3 Maiden albums, along with NoTB and Powerslave. (I'm still an even bigger fan of the Paul D'Ianno albums)

Can't wait 'till they come to Bergen, Norway, on November 23rd:DThis Message Edited On 08.29.06This Message Edited On 08.29.06

I can't believe Maiden delivered an album (at this age) better than Dance of Death, which was IMO a very good album. Haven't listened to this yet, I refuse to download the leaked songs and ill buy it when it comes out in the US, this is one of the few bands i support in such a way.

Im seeing Maiden in New Jersey Oct. 13!
