Im not pointing fingers, but I'll flat out say that's who I think it was, considering he hates you. Not that Im in his favor either, but I was number one in the superhero poll.

I think its for the best if we all stop talking about the little fucker and get on with our lives.

Allow me to stroll vaguely off-topic with you.

It probably was Happy, but I wouldn't be too sure yet, as he targeted a few other people just as much as you, yet negged no others.

Frances, you'll forgive me for finding it rather odd that an hour ago you were reveling in the anarchy he presented and now feel the need to "stop mentioning the fucker and get on with your life". I've nothing against you, I merely think you took it too far this time.

Metallicaman, I just voted as I said I would.

I had one too, but it was short lived. It was about why not to do my momma, and MM8 was on it too.

Perhaps we should try and get more on topic to cover up the spam.

Cobain wrote decent riffs and was a so-so vocalist, yet people often rave on about how great he is. Is it just me or is he overrated?

Overrated as a guitarist, but as a vocalist, I really like him.

Cobain's 'decent riffs' were a blueprint for bands from 1993-the present. Taking the simplistic 'Louie, Louie' chords and turning them into a varnished progression 'set' kinda thing, it pretty much warped Pete's version of the power chord to a modern day form, like guitar in general evolved from fifties/sixties pop-rock to heavier, trashier riffage.

I don't mind Cobain as a songwriter. He's not a great guitarist, or singer though.

I actually have a rather large soft spot for Kurt and Nirvana, as they were largely responsible for getting me seriously into music.

I think Cobain is a really good songwriter actually.

I also think hes a good songwriter. I like his lyrics alot too. Though his voice isn't perfect and his guitar playing style isn't always so enjoyable too.
