Very bold of her to release a 31 tracks-long album right at this moment when general public is getting exhausted of her. If you take out all the external noice surrounding this girl, the album is a very smartly written pop-album. The lyrics are multidimensional, I don't think any of her peers are at this level in terms of songwriting. Smallest Man Who Ever Lived is my favourite atm.

You either 5 enough albums to become a hero, or 4.5 the wrong album to become the villain

the fact that she makes the most bland fucking music in the world is irrelevant, and if you don’t cream over it you’re just a sexist

I listened to So Long London or whatever the fuck it’s called… not bad. But I’ve also been told by literal swifties that it’s the best song on the record. if the best song on the record is like a 3/5 if I’m feeling generous, and this mf is 2 hours long

paaaaaaassssssssssss

oh and the song with posty. It’s kinda bland, not terrible, kinda pleasant sounding but nothing too groundbreaking. Kinda sums up Taylor’s career pretty well tbh.

Honestly, I hate to be a Swift hater, I groaned at those kinds of people all the time. But I really can’t stand the amount of people that legitimately think she’s a genius, I feel that kind of attitude in her fandom has become so much more common since the Eras tour

Before my attitude was “yeah it’s fine. just shit that’s not really for me, but let basic white girls have their fun.” after all this tho im just fucking sick of hearing about her all the time

Honestly, I hate to be a Swift hater [2]

..but she and her fanbase are rly making it too easy. the bland music is whatever, the insane carbon footprint is a bigger thing, and when the praise she's getting always has to include "she's a good marketer/businessperson" besides being a good artist i'm just like.. being a good person in business generally means being a pretty terrible person to other ppl/the world/etc.. idk man

couldn’t have said it better myself chief

I completely understand. I just don’t wanna be branded as a misogynist or sexist or whatever. There’s plenty of women making great music that isn’t bland as fuck and they don’t have the carbon footprint of a fleet of hummers running in my drive way year round
