Never listened to these guys before but I love their sound, makes me sad I hadn’t checked sooner
Very appropriate review, seems to capture the vibe spot on

best thing they dun is the Clean EP. So dirty. [2]
Where did all that venom and filth go? Everything else they've done is cool too but they went extra hard on Clean

Gold is a bit more aggro sounding than Clean from what I remember, might need to verify

If this was anyone but Whores, this would be a fine record.
This is a milquetoast Whores record.

Clean was dirty but not catchy
Gold was dirty and was catchy
War was not dirty but was catchy

Actually I just don’t remember clean but I guess that would support it not being catchy

playing poor blows your doors off on first listen
this record does not have that

I honestly think Clean is their best. Dirty has some of their best, tho. Like Daddy's Money is one of my favorites to sing along to

Clean is pretty scuzzy and about as angery as Gold on relisten, can confirm
Gold gotta be their best though, hits that perfect middle ground between fuzzed-out rage and catchiness, even if a couple of the latter half songs are a bit redundant

These guys have a fantastic core sound, but honestly this album feels like they're treading familiar ground more than they are moving forward with their music.
It's still a great listen ngl

Ye
Wouldn’t be so bad if they hadn’t gone bye bye for so long. Hoping the next one is quicker and dirtier.
