I think a lot of their original fans jumped ship after Correllation came out, upon realizing that they weren't going to stick to their "scenegrind" sound that they started out with on Firing Squad.

tbh i do like the early era more than their poison the well/underoath worship stuff, pretty much why i haven't given this a shot yet. but yeah general vibe i get is the band members are a bit immature, at least they're not escuela grind lol

i'm about half way thru and it's pretty interesting... some of these songs venture into VERY different territory for the band and it almost makes me wish they would ditch the breakdowns and just fully commit to the new direction.
