I tried putting this on yesterday and yeah... it sucks. I even came into it with a pro-cheese mindset. Too tryhard. Comes across like someone trying to appeal to nerds but uses Wikipedia as a reference for the lyrics

EPM is somewhat fun in a novelty way, I like that they attempted at times to slow down to legitimate hair metal stripped of power metal, but it seemed in execution to only highlight how much of a fish out of water they are when they try and do anything else. This feels like them finally understanding their strengths in this new hyper-aware aesthetic they’ve had since Maximum Overload, which may be a non-starter in itself of a lot of people but I just think it’s dumb fun.
The optimal dragonforce fan should also kinda think their terrible imo but that’s why they rule lol
