Their previous album "Patience" didn't resonate with me at all, I thought it was dumb, but not in a fun way. This one, on the other hand, is really enoyable, I can easily see it growing on me. Is it their own label or is it me being more open to their sound? We'll never know for sure, but as they suggest in "Split Me Open", nothing changes really. So I'll give "Patience" another chance.

“And what if we stopped spinning?
And what if we're just flat?
And what if Jesus himself ate my fucking snatch?
And what if I'm an angel?
Oh, what if I'm a bore?
And what if I was confident
Would you just hate me more?”
ngl some of my favorite lyrics and delivery of the year so far

I adore the indie punk side of their sound, I Don't Know You was a huge standout. Their take on hardcore songs is a harder sell for me.

samesies million, I like the softer songs but when they go hard they go fucking HARD.
OK is legitimately one of the best songs of the year for me along with the title track
