I like how the fifth track is just an absolute banger, lol
It’s at odds with the weird dissonant cocktail unleashed before it, but honestly it kinda goes

even that has time for a little craziness towards the closing section
Still digging this, just keep experiencing variance as far as to what degree is concerned

I feel like the crazy prog jazz stuff is decently well done, not amazing, but I actually really like how starkly it contrasts with the stretches of megariff badassery. Makes them stand out even more than they already would.

Simultaneously blown away this band exists and blown away no one tried blackened mathcore before. Prob gonna bump after a few more listens, kinda wishing the jazz was more incorporated into the riffz instead of just existing as Opethian-dynamic-switcherooskeevin'
edit: committing to the Greek is exactly the hardnosed, antisocial sentiment black metal thrives on and I am so here for it

pretty sure blackened elements in mathcore isn’t entirely new, but then my Noise Trail Immersion claim has been denied by others in the past (yet I’m still convinced they count)
I like the debut by this guy, third album was alright as well. Need to recheck

Checked the last one too and some of the riffz melted me

The one before this is a marathon riff-fest of quite ridiculous proportions... and not always in a good way. There's a lack of direction at times. I mean sometimes tracks just stop dead because they guy is probably like - 'yeah, nowhere else to go from here', lol
The debut had potential, a template. Something brewing but wasn't quite there yet. Less of a mess than 3.
I need to check the second one to complete the set.
This retains his signature zany riffing and adds a whole heap of other progressive stuff into the melting pot, yet is also (somehow) more cohesive despite the avant-garde tendencies. Impressive progress.
