Yeh Ember should have just been a standalone single. The song with Tosin is such throwaway material for both Plini and Tosin.
This was a very disappointing project which is sad because Plini is one of my faves over the last decade. He does seem to be in a creative comfort zone for better or worse. He’s still a top chap and Simon Grove continues to evolve as a top bassist in the genre.

I've listened to this heaps of times over the last couple of days trying to see if any of the stuff mentioned in this review bothers me, and.. nope, the music feels good and I could listen to it heaps more times. If this is Plini resting on his laurels, he could rest on his laurels for the next couple of records and I'd probably still enjoy the fuck out of it. Plini good, good EP
