Yup yup. I’d go so far to say that Armory of Obsidian Glass is one of the greatest metal songs ever made. Complete masterpiece. Rainbow Coil is the only thing that really sets that record back, and that’s just because it goes on for too long. I’m cool with harsh noise transitions but not when it’s literally the second longest song on the record
I might 5 it tbh, and could see myself nudging this up to a 4.5 the more I listen to it. Haven’t read the lyrics at all either Jay, I’m gonna wait for my vinyl to ship so I’m stoked for that.
