Thanks for the rev! had no idea this came out.
Previous records by this band have been solid 2.5's... so I'm pretty neutral going in. The concept is great, but the execution isn't all that mindblowing

Sputnik is great. Long live Sputnik. I’ve been exposed to new stuff, stayed abreast of the latest from bands I enjoy and been able to enjoy discussing music that almost no one in my actual real life cares about. Love you sput.

I gave this a couple of spins... yeah, not for me.
It kinda lacks cohesiveness, I get the theme, but sometimes is not delivered successfully. I can see why the "Agalloch" tag is there, but it's like an on/off switch.
Obviously not gonna rate it bc I see a lot of you are digging this AND I'm not a dick (I am tho), but it would be something along a 2.5

My concept is that it will most certainly lower the avg, thus, becoming irrelevant and not attracting ppl that might really enjoy this album.
Bands don't make killer earnings guys, we should thank God we have them to lighten our days with their blessings.
The fact that I didn't enjoy it, doesn't mean that the record is more than obviously the product of hard work, passion and dedication. This ain't no Drake, they can't afford to not sell some merch or some digital songs.
Help the bands, help underground dudes, it applies to everything in the mainstream dominated world.
