The chorus in the last track, sheeesh.

Another strong album from the boys, and it will likely keep growing on me like the last one did.

I wish a few of the songs were either a little more aggressive or a little bit catchier; some of them feel stuck in limbo. But damn do the good songs here really take off.

I like Scissors a lot.

Angel might be my favorite song ever by them, but I do wish it ended differently. The extended repetition just doesn't quite work for me as a finale. Speaking of repetition, Death Nonetheless is a mostly great track, but 2 minutes of the same line that builds to nothing? Awful choice.

Funeral For A Friend vocalist Matthew Davies-Kreye has left the band. Lucas Woodland (Holding Absence) will fill-in on vocals for their 2024 Slam Dunk Festival performance.

Yeah this record grew on me. The lyrics are also quite nice, the story they tell is quite beautiful
