At the very least, major praise for horrendous releasing yet another record with a great mix for the bass.
Album is everything I wanted from the band at this point: love the more proggy elements and how they’re still crafting out their own unique sound. Pumped to see what else they do in the future.
I enjoyed the more on the nose heaviness off Idol compared to the more melodic side of Anaretta, but this to me is a perfect blend and the next logical progression for the band, which I’m happy they aren’t content with keeping the formula the same and milking that out.
I already prefer this more than Idol after a few listens. A few of the songs even gave me some Thrash Vektor vibes.
Album artwork is also gorgeous and a great representation of the record.
Also Fuck me for just formally finding out the passing of TheSpirit, RIP

I like it more than Idol for sure, and it's slowly crawling over Anareta as my favorite. Really can't get enough of this album.

I’m actually getting married this weekend so it’s def been a week of reminiscing and moving forward.

I see this album as a stepping stone for something even bigger. It didn't top Idol for me but I get it as part of the process. Still amazing album and top 10 metal albums of the year.
