I mean I agree with JT, but he can seem a bit gung-ho about it. Probably more than he actually is.

He bullies me, cause he loves me

Eh I'm not as stuck in my rankings and passionate about them with Sabbath as I am with Opeth for example so I won't argue about H & H not being as good as ANY of the first 6. I can see why he feels that but I do disagree.

Not "far" superior, but yeah I think I prefer this
One day, maybe, I'll 5 Sabotage
But this is better than Vol. 4 no doubt about it

MoR > Par > S/T > SBS > Sab > Vol. 4 > MR > this (imo)
Let the flamefest begin.

Paranoid > Masters Of Reality > Heaven and Hell = Black Sabbath > Sabbath Bloody Sabbath > Vol. 4 > Sabatoge
|
| |
@fac: Pretty much yeah. I mean I know you prefer Sab and Vol. 4 to SBS, and I believe you prefer this to MR, but otherwise we don't seem to disagree too much on this band.

Dio era had the potential to out due the Ozzy era but they never made anything of the same quality as this afterwards.

Sometimes I think that the fans of the first 6 albums dont like this (or Mob Rules) only cause it has a different, non doomy and more traditional heavy metal sound, it doesn't riff that hard, yeah, but the solos are probably better in here, the vocals are obviously better and the lyrics are almost on pair with the classics
I think if these albums were made by another band they wouldn't be criticized that much, people are not used to bands changing their sound
If Pink Floyd realesed a GOOD eurodance album, I would give it a high rate without any problem

Yeah, I agree. This doesn't have the same atmosphere and I'm glad about it. Black Sabbath started sounding tired of their style by Sabotage and this album definitely revitalized them.
