I just imagine a Rise Records / DGD marketing person seeing the thread at first saying “woah almost 100 pages discussing this album wow!” Only to find out that it’s all a discussion completely irrelevant to the album, and any posts about the album are either negative towards it or are deflecting it.

I like it. It occupies a nice space between Coletta and Eidola. And you could easily translate these songs to chords on an acoustic and represent them that way.

Andrew Wells truly embraced his position as the new fuckboi of DGD and abandoned any creativity within his original band

i used to like eidola a lot and i think andrews got a great voice but he is a gross gross dude and the stuff circulating about him when the tilly stuff has taken me off team andrew forever
and ya allb were amazing. no place is the only album i have ever 5d the first day i heard it and it is absolutely the best thing any band in this ecosystem ever accomplished

No Place is amazing but I’m of the opinion that Conversation Piece doesn’t get enough love - it’s almost as good.

Eidola was good/showed promise up until they overhyped their last album which ended up being pretty lame/generic swancore.
