I've heard the bonus track, because I'm a reviewer for a German music site. It's a spoken word piece with droning ambient sounds in the background. An actress reads some kind of dark fantasy story. Nothing spectacular, but a neat little gift for fans which expands the Gizzverse.
I love the album. There's so much going on, I have no idea how they keep coming up with all of those crazy riffs and rhythms. Favourite tracks so far: "Motor spirit", "Dragon", "Witchcraft".

Never really bothered with the majority of their albums becuase it was overwhelming with how much they put out.. but damn this is so great and fun.

I have always believed I had a 4 rating ceiling for this band…but this one is making me question everything
Edit: fuck it it’s a 4.5

I've always found this band low key enjoyable but have also never completely taken them seriously because it feels like they release three albums every year. The hype surrounding this is going to make me check it out once I finally get a chance to digest the new Sigur Ros and QOTSA.

So many 4.5s?? [visible confusion] This is not that good... It's "quite alright".

Great review. They've done it again. No idea how these fuckers can release such great music at the frequency they do. Top 3 Gizz for me after two spins with easy potential to rise to 4.5.

Typically metal bands branch out and do non-metal music, it's rare for a non-metal band to put out a metal album (this isn't Gizz's first either). The results are interesting because instead of heavy metal being the starting point they're building upon, they're adding metal riffs to their preexisting psych rock sound.
I need a few more listens to form my opinion but I'm enjoying this a lot.

I'm getting kinda tired of their relentless LP's. This one has a cool album cover so I might have to czech it :P

Dragon sounds like Al Cisneros jamming with Voivod and Coroner. Amazing.

Dragon, first half of Flamethrower and the jam in Witchcraft kinda go. rest of this is some Rick and Morty-ass ecojank

how does this compare with Omnium Gatherum stylistically? The opener on that one was pretty cool. Completely forgot there was an album in-between… oh wait, what, three albums?! This band

This album fucking riiiiiiiips. A true and proper follow-up to Infest The Rest Nest that exceeds it in almost every way. Cav especially is a goddamn beast of a drummer

doesn't really sound anything like Omnium Gatherum, bar a couple of that one's metal tracks (which is neither here nor there bc that album was a jumble, but the opener did rip and there's nothing like that here unfortunately). this is mostly garage thrash with the occasional techy jam and a raging voivod fetish
