That album is still pretty high on my AOTY list atm. It just feel like a super refreshing sound to me which I truly enjoy in today's music

I just wish I could understand the lyrics

'If its anything like Papangu I'm on board'

'spiritual soulmates' being tenuously linked or something, not a stylistic comparison so be warned

it's similarly refreshing in the creative stakes though

I listened to this last week and really enjoyed it. Ostensibly BM but has the wild abandon, energy and feel of a top tier noise rock record.

This is really interesting. What a unique sound these guys have, haven't really heard anything that sounds like this

Impressively, it seems as though only one guy holds down the fort for this project, although there is a separate drumming credit.

Not exactly mysterious; he did a very long interview with Machine Music, which went in depth about his philosophy, influences etc.

So why is there a random bm band in Minnesota with Czech titles and such? Are they from my neck of the woods or what?

Anyhoo, the best explanation I've found was on a Czech interview article thing site that said it really is just some random bm musician who apparently just likes how alien Czech language sounds to the anglophone world

The band name roughly translates to 'Turning to Bones' ie dying

first half was what grabbed me at first, but the dissonant/clamorous shit on the second is hitting the mark big time. penultimate song goes v hard

As a Czech I can't wait to listen to this one. I knew this thing exists, but never heard anything actually. Yeah and Úpal means "sunstroke".
