Maaan, screw those two negs. Great review, and I pretty much agree with all your points. Can't wait to hear this again!

"Axl is dogshit. [2]
Hell yeah. God i hate his voice"
And the music is equally as shit :]

I can’t even remember what it sounds like, but I’ve always thought Slash was the most overrated guitarist of all time. Like, goddamn. He’s in this ad auditioning for a band and i fucking hate it

Slash is a technically good guitarist but he hasn't written many riffs that I return to ever.
Also the negs allow me to say that Bush did 9/11 so it works out :^)

As someone who's actually a pretty big fan of 80s glam/hair metal, GnR have never resonated with me in the slightest. Axl Rose constantly sounds like shit, Slash's guitar work isn't inventive or interesting in the slightest, and the songwriting is extremely bland. I would be happy if I never heard Welcome to the Jungle or Sweet Child O' Mine again in my life

I'll only slightly go to bat for November Rain real talk

@Koris
Same here. I always wonder how those songs got so popular. Them and Every Rose Has its Thorn

Every Rose I get. But Axls voice is so bad he makes even modern Vince Neil seem ok.

Major label influence on culture and mainstream music is so massive, damn

Yeah, Poison's definitely in the lower tier as well. As far as hair metal goes, it's all about Dokken, Motley Crue (asshole behavior nonwithstanding), WASP, and Skid Row \m/
Also 7800 Fahrenheit by Bon Jovi is underrated as hell
|

I can agree with all that!

Crue really only has one album I really vibe with in full. The rest are a mixed bag. Dr. Feelgood is their peak tbh

Got wasted in anticipation of listening to this and I’m loving it so far.

Gotta listen a few times before I give a rating but the 2nd A is definitely better than the first half. I give ‘em credit for swinging for the fences.

Im loving all the gnr slander im seeing on this page. Axel annoying/obnoxious yes yes and slash overrated and boring yes yes!
Civil War is fire. Literally the only gnr song that's even remotely passable. Shit band and I hope they have a terrible evening

"just something batshit there to round the experience out."
honestly thinking about it, I agree. go all-in on the SOAD influence from Game Over and Mattel, do a full-on Toxicity era type song but prog.
