"brainrot" test = does sentence parse as:

A: this whole EP sounds like video game music

or

B: one specific part of this record either sounds like it distantly borrows from (memories of) video games or like it gets these second hand from another artist who openly does the same and whose presence is felt in other specific ways here

I don't think I ever told this story, but this album literally broke my ass. When it dropped in 2008 I went on a hike at night to jam it, and I wound up listening to it 3 times in a row in a secluded park while swinging on a swingset. It was a fantastic time. I wake up the next day and my ass cheeks are just destroyed. Pulled pork. Couldn't move for like 2 days.

Good times

i would love it if a video game existed that promoted women in music by featuring their music or otherwise

you know if a game came out with music like this the steam reviews would whine about her voice and lack of talent because she makes evil danceable computerised pop and we need more of jeremy soule eating the turdnuggets out of hans zimmers arse hairs to vomit more 7th rate pseudo-classical snoozefests

This definitely borrows some synthwave film/game OST notes here and there
